Like two models fighting for the spotlight on the catwalk; fall fashion trends are here, bold, in your face, and will soon be taking over your summer wardrobe.

Let’s start this blog off with some bold color:

Black, Cobalt, Burgundy, White, and not altogether of course. STOP! I know what you’re thinking…Black and White are not bold colors!

Oh contraire my fiery friend, with the right texture (leather, lace, velvet, etc.) Black is bound to give any one of your wardrobe choices some edge.  As far as White goes, it has gone pretty far past wearing it in only spring and summer. Time to hang up (in the far back left corner of your closet) that old fashion rule about not wearing white after Labor Day. Any white outfit this fall will be as bold and crisp as that cold front waiting to move in on your steamy beach days.

Now bringing you back to your fashion senses and color…

BLACK and BLUE (not physically but fashionably and yes together) are a must! No matter if worn in layers, geometric shapes, or some sort of animal print you will definitely need to strut these colors together this fall season.

BURGUNDY. This vendetta of a color is sure to catch anyone’s wondering eye and bring the sultriness out of your fall wardrobe. Try some to die for styles by pairing this color with some leather, lace, fur (preferably faux), and/or ruffles to accentuate your inner vamp.  Tip: I don’t think you will get any complaints if worn on your lips, nails, or lacey undergarments too.

WHITE. Chic. Classic. Crisp. Sexy.  Need I say more!?! Whether you’re searching for a look that screams fashionista, sophistication, goddess, snow queen, or even snow bunny, you’ve found it in this 

color or non-color so to speak.  Try some white tailored pants/blazer, jumpsuits hooded or not, or sexy bandage/bodycon dress.

Moving along to Texture:

LEATHER. LEATHER. AND MORE LEATHER. Did I mention leather?  Tops, bottoms, and outerwear 

worn as singles or paired together for a full on leather frenzy! It’s hot, it’s in, and it’s straight off the runway. Now, don’t go breaking out your cat women suit from past Halloweens thinking it will be the purr-fect outfit for this season. Instead try some leather pleated skirts or A-line high waisted skirts with a bit of leather at the bottom hem.  Also grab some leather and lace or mesh leggings and be sure to find yourself a leather jacket with an urban street chic feel that never goes out of style. Feeling a little dominatrix are we…Just don’t accessorize with a whip.

REPTILE SKINS. Animal prints have trotted, danced, and ran around with fashion for many moons, but this season it’s the dangerously sexy skins getting all the attention. Sway and slither along in sleek skin accessories, and prints but be sure to warn you don’t bite…or do you?

EMBELLISHMENTS. Yes Please!

You will be seeing a lot of this around most necklines for this season but you can also have your waist line and your wrist steal the show. Embellished tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories will always make you shine and give you a show stopper look. 

On that note, I would try to refrain from digging up or searching ebay for a bead dazzler, unless of course you know how to use it!
