Evil Alive” is micro-budget supernatural horror feature movie.  We are open to both union and non-union actors.  Stipend and deferred contract for higher pay depending on gross.  The time frame is somewhat flexible.  We are looking to cast throughout August and September.   Rehearse throughout October and November.  And shoot in December in the New York City area.                  
 

“Evil Alive” Character Breakdown
 

Storyline:  Kendra, AJ, Mar and Dwayne are old college friends.  Now that they're pushing thirty, they find themselves growing apart.  Attempting to hang on to their good old college days, the gang gets together for a night of stories, pranks and lots of beer. As the evening progresses, they unknowingly release a deviously clever, manipulative demonic-being that had been trapped for centuries in Salem.  The night takes a terrifying turn as the group of friends must determine what is real and who they can trust in order to survive the demon's malevolent purpose.

Kendra Deirdrick: (LEAD ROLE, 29 years old, Female, caucasian) - Strong, sarcastic, decisive, determined and empathetic.  A fighter who moved to NYC after college to fulfill her goal of publishing children’s books.

AJ Spencer: (LEAD ROLE, 29 years old, Male, caucasian or Indian) - Confident, charming, natural leader, manipulative Alpha-male.  Created a successful “dot com” post college.  He's filthy rich and likes being dirty.

Dwayne Booker: (LEAD ROLE, 29 years old, Male, African-American) - Smart, funny, caring, inquisitive and is the peacemaker.  Works as a chemist for a pharmaceutical company.  Stayed in Ohio after college and married Eva, his college sweetheart.

Eva Booker: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 28 years old, Female, Latina) - Maternal, loving, giving, overwhelmed and frazzled.  A receptionist at the pharmaceutical company.  Raises her two children with her hubby, Dwayne.

Trent Booker: (8 years old, Male, mixed-race) - Dwayne and Eva’s rowdy son.

Bailey Booker: (6 years old, Male, mixed-race) - Dwayne and Eva’s restless son.

Marvin (Mar) Pedroso: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 30 years old, Male, caucasian) - Bold, troubled, egotistical and the trickster of the gang.  Moved back home with his parents in Salem after losing his job as a community center’s psychiatrist.

Susan-Leigh Pedroso: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 18 years old, Female, caucasian) - Brainy, cautious, pretty and an overachiever.   Mar is her older brother.  Bastian is her twin, but they are very different from each other.

Sebastian-Luke (Bastian) Pedroso: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 18 years old, Male, caucasian) - Creative, loner, intuitive, non-conformist and the black sheep of the family.  Bastian is an artist in a family of psychiatrists.  He often feels like the crazy one.

Mrs. Gertrude Guschwald (Great Grandmother): (SUPPORTING ROLE, 101 years old, Female, caucasian)  - Frail, worried, senile and wise.  She's a burden to the family and only Bastian really connects with her.  Great Grandmother is gravely aware of the dangers in the attic and she makes Bastian promise to guard it.

Dr. Mary-Ann Guschwald-Pedroso: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 58 years old, Female, caucasian) - Proper, intellectual, rigid and authoritarian.  Dr. Guschwald-Pedroso likes to run a tight ship and keep everything in order including her family.

Dr. Franklin Pedroso: (60 years old, Male, caucasian) -  Stressed.  Dr. Pedroso spends so much time at the hospital that he sees his patients more than his family.

Wallace Jackson: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 51 years old, Male, African-American) - Jovial, brave, insightful and a self taught expert in the occult and Salem witchcraft.  He runs a comic book store by day and is Bastian’s only real friend.

Wesley: (19 years old, Male, any race) - Nerdy, cute.  Susan-Leigh’s boyfriend.

Taylor: (SUPPORTING ROLE, 27 years old, Male, caucasian or other) - Buff, vain and immature.  Taylor is an aspiring model and Kendra’s Brooklyn roommate.

Fawn: (LEAD ROLE, 24 years old, Female, Asian or other) - Mousy, vulnerable, weak and easily frightened.    Fawn is Kendra’s other roommate.

Vianca: (26 years old, Female, caucasian or other) - Beautiful, superficial and glamorous.  Vianca is AJ’s latest live-in arm candy.

Kyle: (24 years old, Male, any race) - Geek-chic, AJ’s personal assistant.

Paramedic MacKenzie: (44 years old, Male, any race) - Pudgy paramedic.

Paramedic Stearns:  (36 years old, Female, any race) - Leaner paramedic.
